Managing Director

Chartered Transport Planning Professional, Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport, Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation, and Member of the Transport Planning Society - with over 35 years’ experience;

Gained a First-class honours degree in Civil Engineering from City University; followed by six years working for Essex County Council in highway design;

Founding Director of COTTEE in 1997 and previously Technical Director of Boreham Consulting Engineers;

Expert witness at numerous Public Inquiries;

Examiner and Auditor for the CTPP qualification since inception.
VANESSA COTTEE BA (HONS)
Director

Co- founder and Director of the company Vanessa is responsible for all financial and operational business matters;

Prior to co-founding and setting up COTTEE Transport Planning Vanessa’s previous appointments included PA to the Chief Executive of Reed Southern Newspapers.

Senior Transport Planner

Member of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation and Graduate of the University of East Anglia in Environmental Earth Sciences;

Responsible for the examination of the transport impact of: Hospital redevelopment schemes, universities and colleges, major business developments, food stores, major residential development schemes;

Key areas of expertise: Traffic modelling, Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans, Waste Management Strategies, Delivery & Servicing Management Plans, Construction Management Plans, Car Park Management Plans, AutoCAD and AutoTrack, negotiations with Highway Authorities, assisting at major public inquiries.

FRANCESCA FIRMIN - BSC (HONS)
Transport Planner

Responsible for assessing the transport impact of a wide variety of development projects and liaising with clients on matters arising;

Key areas of expertise include: Transport Statements; Transport Assessments; Travel Plans; Traffic modelling; Site access design and Tracking analysis;

Francesca graduated from the University of East Anglia with a degree in Biological Sciences and has previous experience in local government and financial services.
